The issuance of industrial licenses in Gonabad increased by 300 percent
The head of the Gonabad Department of Industry, Mines and Trade announced a 300 percent increase in the issuance of industrial licenses and a 244 percent increase in the issuance of investment licenses in the city during the first four months of this year compared to the same period last year.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Hadi Izadi added: "Six industrial exploitation licenses have been issued in Gonabad with an investment of eighty-five billion rials and direct employment of ninety-five people during the four months of this year."
He continued: "These licenses have been issued in the field of production of building facade stones, polyethylene pipes, bulk products and disinfectant liquid."
The head of the Gonabad Department of Industry, Mines and Trade also announced the issuance of twenty-two new investment licenses with a capital of eight hundred and seventy-five billion rials and direct employment of three hundred and ten people during the four months of this year.
He said: "This amount has increased compared to the same period last year in terms of number forty-four percent and in terms of employment thirty-three percent."
Izadi added: the mentioned licenses have been issued in the field of production of bentonite powder, brake pads, clothing, LED lamps, concrete products and building stones.
He continued: "The Islamic Republic News Agency has acted well in its role in creating culture and informing the people by accurately and clearly reflecting the news and services of officials in various sectors, especially economic and production."
He said: "In a situation where the enemies in economic warfare and economic sanctions do not spare any effort to hit the achievements of the Islamic Republic, the mass media and the Islamic Republic News Agency have an effective role in neutralizing these tricks by providing effective and transparent information."
One hundred and seventy-two industrial units are active in the sectors of metallic and non-metallic mineral industries, food, chemical and cellulose industries in Gonabad city, for the establishment of which one thousand two hundred and seventy-three billion rials have been invested and for three thousand two hundred and Eighty-four people have been directly and twice as many indirectly employed.
Three towns and industrial zones with four hundred and forty-seven hectares of land and fifty-four active units and eleven cold storages, warehouses and silos are active in Gonabad city. Out of a total of four thousand and seven hundred union units with business licenses in Gonabad city, three thousand and four hundred units are active. About five hundred cooperatives with more than six thousand five hundred people are active in this city.
The center of the 90,000-strong city of Gonabad is located two hundred and eighty-seven kilometers south of Mashhad.
