Signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Mining Innovation and Technologies Development Plan and Mining Industries
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Vice President for Science and Technology and the Mining Engineering Organization.
According to the Iran International Stone Exhibition, at the beginning of the ceremony, Kambiz Mehdizadeh, Senior Advisor to the Vice President for Science and Technology and Director of the Innovation and Technologies Development Project in the Mining and Mining Industries, stated that the implementation of this memorandum is in the interest of both sectors. The implementation of this memorandum does not require the creation of different phases. If the two phases can be concluded, an important part of the problems in this area can be solved.
He added: "Good cases have been considered for this memorandum. I hope the Vice President for Science and Technology will take a good step towards the promotion of this field with the Organization of the Mining Engineering System."

Mehdizadeh mentioned the issue of mining tourism, medical geology and mining safety promotion as new and important topics in the mining field and added: "The development of technologies in these fields will play a significant role in the development of the mining innovation ecosystem." These are among the axes that can become areas of cooperation between the two sides.
In the continuation of this ceremony, Taghi Nabi, the head of Iran Mining Engineering Organization, considered this memorandum as one of the most fruitful memorandums and said: This memorandum should be implemented as soon as possible. Time to execute its plans.
"There is a lot to be said for the mining sector," he said, adding that the mining and mining industries could cover the empty sector of the oil economy.
The head of the Mining Engineering System Organization mentioned the creation of direct and indirect employment and economic prosperity as a result of this memorandum and said: the support of the Vice President for Science and Technology will motivate and accelerate the implementation of this memorandum.
Following the ceremony, Mehdizadeh, in response to a reporter's question about the duration of the implementation of this memorandum, said: "This memorandum will be implemented in a short time."
He said that the business environment should be supported. Regarding the amount of investment in this memorandum, he said: "The amount of investment depends on the proposed plan, but in general, the Vice President for Science and Technology is always ready to support creative projects. Through the Innovation and Prosperity Fund and low-interest facilities, it supported the proposed projects.
He said that the Mine Development Plan of the Vice President for Science and Technology will soon announce its support priorities for geology, mining and mining industry projects, adding that all owners of innovative and technological projects, knowledge-based companies and all interested parties can visit the project website Submit their plans and ideas for the development of the mine, which will be introduced to the innovation factories or to the Center for Mine Innovation and Mining Industries, which is being set up, after being reviewed by experts in this field.
The head of the Mining Engineering Organization also said regarding the financing of this memorandum: "Fortunately, the Mining Engineering System Organization has strong supporters." Therefore, the part that belongs to this organization is provided by the financial resources of this organization.
In the end, the Mining Engineering Organization announced the holding of the IMEX exhibition and said: after several years, the Mining Engineering Organization intends to hold a large exhibition called IMEX.
Taheri added: "Fortunately, this exhibition has been welcomed by large mining countries and large domestic companies."
He also said that the time of holding this exhibition is unknown due to the onset of coronary heart disease and said: "It is very likely that this exhibition will be held in May of next year." According to this report, this memorandum is in the field of investment development, use of new machinery, access to technical knowledge and commercialization of mining industries, cooperation and participation in technology and geological innovation, etc.
