Modares Khiabani was introduced as the proposed Minister of Industry
The parliamentary vice president announced the introduction of Hossein Modarres Khiabani as the proposed Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade to the Islamic Consultative Assembly.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Hossein Ali Amiri added: "According to Article 133 of the Constitution, in a letter to the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, the President introduced Modarres Khiabani as the proposed Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade."
The parliamentary vice-president said that the issue will be announced in the open court of the parliament tomorrow - Wednesday: next Wednesday, August 22, a vote of confidence in the proposed Minister of Industry will be held in the open court of the parliament.
Hossein Modares Khiabani is a graduate of Iran University of Science and Technology. He has been in the Ministry of Commerce for about seventeen years in positions such as Deputy Minister of Internal Trade, Director General of Planning of the Ministry of Commerce, Director General of Supply and Distribution, Director General of Market Regulation Office, Board of Directors of Iran State Trading Company and for nearly ten years as CEO He is the manager of several production and industrial units, including Zanjan Cement, Firoozkooh Cement, Khorasan Steel Complex, Motor Manufacturers (Iran Tractor Manufacturing), Mazandaran Cement, Gharb Cement and Export Development Company.
