Bahman Hosseinzadeh stated about the reason for the temporary closure of the International Exhibition: The International Exhibition resumed its activities on the 24th of Khordad according to the approval of the National Corona Headquarters, but on the condition that these exhibitions should be held without the presence of the public and only for specialists. The official noted that the exhibitions that were held were only for specialized people and all the work was done to hold a detergent exhibition, and about twenty billion tomans were spent by the companies to build booths, which were closed due to closure, and the halls were closed.
