Ministry of Industry calls on investors to produce heavy tires
The Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, by announcing the provision of free land in industrial estates to investors for the production of heavy tires, invited all investors to enter this sector.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, in the meeting of the production leap camp with the presence of "Hossein Modarres Khiabani", the head of the ministry, it was announced: those investors who want to produce heavy tires in the country Note 18 will be provided and the required foreign exchange resources will be provided.
It was also approved at this meeting that the current heavy tire manufacturers, by implementing their development plans, should be given priority in Rial and foreign exchange support for the implementation of development plans.
In addition, it was decided that in order to regulate the rubber market and meet the needs of the market, the Customs of the Islamic Republic of Iran should immediately clear the customs rubber inventory.
Providing the currency needed for raw materials for rubber production was one of the resolutions of this meeting.
According to the report, the performance statistics of tire manufacturers show that the production of sixty-seven thousand seven hundred and thirty-four tons of tires and tubes in the spring of this year and a growth of twenty-four percent compared to the same period last year.
The production of the mentioned period is equal to ten million five hundred and twenty-five thousand six hundred and sixty-two tires, which in terms of the number of tires produced in comparison with last year shows a growth of twenty-seven percent.
