He stated that out of three hundred and twenty mines in the province, seventy mines are closed and the rest are active, adding that the licenses of some mines have been issued according to previous policies, whose activities are not economically justified today. The expanse goes up.
Faghfouri pointed out: We are looking to create prosperity in large mines as well as the integration of unjustified mines with these mines.
The head of the Zanjan Province Industry, Mining and Trade Organization, stating that in 1397, a bill of lading was obtained for one hundred and twelve mines, said: "This statistic reached one hundred and ninety mines last year and increased to two hundred and fifty mines in the fourth quarter of this year." Which shows the prosperity of activities in the mines of the province.
Referring to receiving government salaries from the province's mines, he said: During the years 1394 to last year, receiving government salaries from the mines of Zanjan province was seven, eleven, fourteen, eighteen and twenty-three billion tomans, respectively.
Faghfori stated: This year, we estimate that the government salary received from the mines of Zanjan province will reach 33 billion Tomans with a record-breaking.
The head of the Industry, Mining and Trade Organization of Zanjan province said: out of a total of sixty-seven types of minerals available in the country, thirty-six types are extracted in this province, the last of which is titanium.
"In the field of mining, we are looking to complete the value added chain," he said. "In less than six years, the mineral soils of Zanjan decorative stones and iron ore went to other provinces, but today we have the complete value added chain of steel."
Faghfori pointed out: Nab Arash Alborz Steel, the largest private sector smelting unit in the country with 4,000 billion tomans of joint investment between Iran and Turkey, will definitely start operating in September of this year.
He added: Ofogh Abhar steelworkers import unit is also one of the inaugural projects with the presence of the president, which provides 80% of the country's electrode alloy steel.
The official said: "In addition to completing the steel chain, we have three large export units in decorative stones. And we have the complete chain of spinning, which will be launched by the end of the year.
