Explaining the details of the construction of workers' housing around the four industrial towns, the head of the Iranian Chamber of Cooperatives announced the prediction of eliminating land prices for workers and said: The housing exchange will be launched in the next four months.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Bahman Abdollahi stated in a press conference: Despite the fact that workers are one of the most vulnerable sections of society and play a key role in domestic production, but they have problems in discussing housing. Surveys have shown that there are over eight hundred thousand people working in industrial estates and they are practically applying for housing, in addition to that, they have difficulty getting to and from work and have to live in cities and travel long distances to get to work. Therefore, during a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and in the framework of the National Housing Action Plan, workers' housing units were built next to industrial estates with the aim of providing affordable housing for workers and solving their traffic problems.
Predict the construction of one hundred thousand residential units
He said: it is predicted that about one hundred thousand residential units will be created in industrial towns and added: in the first step, four industrial towns in Tehran, Alborz and Qazvin provinces have been identified and preparations have started in twelve provinces of the country. The Workers' Housing Committee has been formed under the responsibility of the Deputy Governor and the Secretary of the Provincial Cooperative Chambers, and the support of projects is also with the Housing Bank.
The head of the Iranian Chamber of Cooperation stated: A good memorandum of understanding has been established with the Housing Bank, and the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development is in charge and the labor policymaker and the Housing Bank is the financier. Forecast the elimination of land prices for workers
Abdullahi clarified: considering the current conditions, land prices are very cheap. We will eliminate the price of land from the costs so that the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development will provide the land to the workers cheaply.
According to him, preparations for the construction of the Ivanki industrial town are currently underway, and studies have begun, and the land is being prepared, and it has been announced that a time will be given for its digging.

Launching a housing exchange for the next four months
Abdullahi announced the launch of the housing exchange for the next four months and said: it was decided to establish a housing exchange with a capital of five thousand billion tomans and the shares of the housing and real estate exchange will be divided between different sections; Thirty-five percent should be provided in the form of cooperatives and private by chambers of commerce and cooperatives, and thirty-five percent of the market should be given to the cities and public non-governmental organizations and applicant banks, and seventy percent should be assigned in this way. The remaining percentage should be given to individuals in the form of underwriting.
According to the Secretary General of the Iranian Chamber of Cooperatives, the first two sections will not be allowed to purchase and undergo the underwriting process.
Two consequences of launching a real estate exchange
The senior official of the country's cooperative sector pointed out two consequences of launching the housing exchange and noted: "Our forecast is that with the launch of the housing exchange, a profitable market will be created and this exchange will attract a large part of stray capital." The housing sector is slow. In addition to attracting capital to the housing sector and restoring prosperity to factories producing construction materials and raw materials, the Housing and Real Estate Exchange will increase housing production and reduce housing prices in the market.
