Khandouzi said: in 1394, the law on tax on vacant houses was approved, but the rate of that law was not a deterrent, and now in this plan, the tax rate has increased twelve times compared to the law of 1394.
He added: The country's real estate and housing system, which was supposed to be launched in 2015, started working late last year, and now only less than a third of the records of residential units have been registered in this system.
Khandouzi said: "In this plan, all tools have been used to strengthen the country's property and housing system, and public institutions and executive bodies have been obliged to provide their data to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development quickly and free of charge."
He added: "If the manager or employee of the devices does not cooperate to provide information to the country's real estate and housing system, they will be sentenced to dismissal from service."
According to the new plan of the tax on vacant houses and three months after its entry into force, all owners of residential units or those who live in the unit, but do not own it, must submit their national code within two months and said: List the family in front of the code of the residential unit they live in or own.
