Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade: In the first two months of this year, based on the exploitation licenses issued by the mine, the nominal extraction rate has increased by seventy-five percent compared to the same period last year.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, in the two-month period of this year, seventy-six licenses have been issued for the exploitation of mines, which is an increase of ten and one percent in terms of number compared to the same period last year, which was sixty-nine, and in terms of extraction. Nominal amounted to five million and twenty-three thousand and four hundred tons, and compared to the same period last year, which was two million eight hundred and sixty-four and seven thousand tons, an increase of seventy-five and four percent.

In the field of employment, during the report, seven hundred and forty-seven people joined the labor market, while in the first two months of last year, five hundred and five people were attracted to the labor market, which achieved a growth of forty-seven and nine percent.

The study of the relevant tables shows that the provinces of Bushehr, Qom, North Khorasan, Tehran, Kermanshah, Gilan, Mazandaran, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Golestan, Lorestan, Mako Free Trade-Industrial Zone and south of Kerman lacked statistical data in this regard.

The number of exploitation licenses in terms of the number of Hormozgan with a growth of two hundred, West Azerbaijan and Sistan and Baluchestan had the highest share with one hundred percent.

Also, in terms of nominal extraction rates, Hormozgan, West Azerbaijan and South Khorasan provinces show the highest growth among the provinces with eight hundred and ninety-nine, eight hundred and forty-four, four hundred and ninety-one percent, respectively.

The provinces of Yazd, Fars and Semnan with seventy-seven and eight, seventy-seven, sixty-two and one percent, respectively, had the highest performance decline in the two months of this year compared to the same period last year.

In addition, in terms of employment, Zanjan, Hormozgan and Markazi provinces had six hundred and thirty-three, three hundred and eighty three hundred and fifty percent increase in performance, respectively.

The provinces of Fars, Kurdistan and Ilam also had the largest decrease in terms of employment during this report period with forty-seven and seven, forty-three and a half and forty-two and nine percent, respectively.

According to this report, the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade has announced the number of active mines in the country at the beginning of this year as five thousand six hundred mines, which at the end of last year amounted to four hundred and ten million tons of minerals, sixty to sixty-five percent. They are building materials.
