Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade: The signing of five memorandums of cooperation by large mining companies with Hepco is in fact a serious step in the direction of localization of mines and in line with the production leap.
According to the Iran International Stone Exhibition, on Monday evening, the national companies of Copper, Mobarakeh Steel, Gol Gohar, Chadormelo, along with the Mining Activities Investment Fund and the Iran Mining House, signed five memorandums of cooperation with Hepco.
Khodadad Gharibpour in this ceremony in the Organization for Development and Renovation of Mines and Mining Industries of Iran (Imidro) said: According to the memorandum of cooperation with mining companies, Hepco is going to produce a number of road construction and mining machines.
He reminded: "Last year, concerns were raised about the cessation of production of Hepco and in order to resolve this issue, talks were held to transfer Hepco to Imidro."
The CEO of Imidro added: "Hepco is supposed to cooperate with large mining companies in the form of this memorandum of cooperation, and this is to the benefit of both parties."
The companies that signed this memorandum have a significant share in the production of steel, copper and iron ore in the country, while the Mining Investment Insurance Fund is also a financial sponsor of the private sector active in the mining sector.
According to Gharibpour, in the first year of implementation of this memorandum, Hepco is supposed to produce 200 road construction machines and in the second year another 700 machines, and in the future it will start manufacturing mining machines.
According to these five memorandums, in cooperation with Imidro, a program to focus on the sale of HEPCO products and services to large mining companies will be implemented. In fact, the purpose of signing these memorandums is to support Imidro and large mining companies from HEPCO and purchase products and services from It is a producer and localizer of mines.
In addition to the four memorandums of understanding with the mentioned companies, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the said mine insurance fund and Iran Mining House with Hepco Company, according to which the machinery needed by the miners will be provided.
According to this report, Imidro's Chairman of the Board had previously said: Imidro, together with Mobarakeh Steel, National Copper Industries, Gol Gohar, Chadormelo, Mining Investment Insurance Fund and Iran Mining House, with the aim of achieving the goals of production leap And support for in-house production Sign five separate agreements to purchase products and services from Hepco.
According to Gharibpour, Imidro, by leading and inviting large mining and mining companies to support Hepco, has held meetings in recent months to review problems and think about using the capacities of this experienced producer.
He added: "The needs assessment of mining companies and mining industries for machinery and technical services has been done in cooperation with HEPCO, and the mentioned companies have announced their needs by holding regular meetings and visits with HEPCO officials to purchase the company's products and The provision of technical services is also considered in these memoranda.
