After the industrial sector was added to the mine, we saw that this sector and the automobile industry were more in the eyes of the officials and received more attention than the mining sector, which is located in deserts and deprived areas. Although the mining industry has grown well over the years, the mining sector is still far from commensurate with growth.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, the President recently referred to the process of measures taken to separate the commercial sphere from the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade in the government and parliament, and said: "Whenever the parliament resolves the objections of the Guardian Council and the law To inform the government, we will introduce the two ministers of trade, industry and mining to the parliament, and this is a very important thing that needs to be done.

The importance of separation of ministries

Abbas Ali Irvani, Director General of the Mining Supervision Office of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, said that the separation of the Ministry is not a new issue: "This is a positive development that makes the situation of mining and industry faster; Therefore, the establishment of the two Ministries of Industry and Mines and the Ministry of Commerce can be considered as a positive development, which should be implemented as soon as possible.

The Director General of the Mining Supervision Office of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, noting that the mining sector is on the sidelines, spoke about the current situation and said: The ministry's facilities are divided between the three sectors of industry, mining and trade has taken. Although officials insist that attention be paid to the mining sector, in practice something else is happening and it is not going as it should.

Irvani emphasized: having a ministry for the fields of mining, industry and trade makes things go as a management; As a result, its positive function declines. A minister cannot easily defend the legal rights of all three. Thus, I completely agree with the statement of the President that a ministry cannot turn the spheres of industry, mining and trade even in the conditions of sanctions and in this difficult situation, and two ministries should be formed.

He pointed out that in the past we have witnessed the separation of the Ministry of Industry and Mines from trade, noting: "If we go back to the past, we realize that when industry and mining were separated and trade was separated, things were much easier." After the merger of the ministry, every director who came did so in any way, but the facilities provided to a minister could not be commensurate with the industry, mining and trade sectors; As a result, the minister faces many restrictions in practice.

In response to the question about the lack of a Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade and the delay of the President in introducing the Minister to the parliament, Irvani said: "The head of the ministry does his job as usual and we in the ministry, as always We get to our work. According to the law, the president has up to three months to nominate his minister; So Rouhani still has another month to go. Of course, the sooner he can nominate a minister, the better for all three areas.

He continued about the performance of Hossein Modarres Khiabani in this ministry: The head of the ministry was able to succeed. He may have the title of supervisor, but he has been very active as the head of the ministry in this short period of time and has done his job well; For example, the street teacher has attended the meetings of the Supreme Council of Mines three times, while previous ministers had not done so.

Establishment of the Ministry of Mines and Metals

Vahid Saebofar, a member of the board of directors of the Tehran Mining Engineering Organization, referring to the history of changes in the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, said: In the sixties, the Ministry of Mines and Metals was in charge of all matters related to mining and mining. The ministry founded many of the large mines that have been exploited today. After a while, the Ministry of Mines and Metals merged with the Ministry of Industry and was renamed the Ministry of Industry and Mines and became larger.

He said that the mining sector has been neglected for a long time, adding: "After the industrial sector was added to the mining sector, we have seen that this sector and the automobile sector are more in the eyes of officials and than the mining sector located in deserts and deprived areas." Have received more attention. Although the mining industry has grown well over the years, the mining sector is still far from commensurate with growth.

Referring to the merger of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade in the 10th government, Saebfar continued: The excuse was that the Ministry of Industry and Mines produces wealth and the Ministry of Commerce regulates this wealth; Thus, a single ministry was formed to regulate wealth under a single management. Due to this policy, the mining sector fell sharply.

A member of the board of directors of the Tehran Mining Engineering Organization continued: In most of the provincial organizations, the commercial department took over the management and the mining deputies were selected from departments that were not familiar with the mining sector. Thus, since the merger of the Ministry, the mining sector has become more oppressed every day. Hourly circulars, agreements with other government agencies and natural resources, widespread conflict of interest with the mine, and a low budget line are all evidence of the mining sector's weakness due to the ministry's length and breadth.

The mining activist said: "In the last ten years, the budget has not been allocated to the mining sector as it should be and maybe the ministry has not been able to carry out the actions that were part of its job description." Today, the importance of the mining sector has doubled due to sanctions and declining oil revenues; Therefore, as an active member of the mining sector, we expect the parliament to agree to separate the Ministry of Industry and Mines from trade.

He stressed: "We hope that in the future, the mining sector will be separated from industry so that we can advance this field with a powerful minister." In this way, we can revive the position of the mine as in the sixties and strengthen the non-oil export sector and bring currency to the country.

Referring to the key role of the Minister in advancing the mining sector, a member of the Board of Directors of the Tehran Mining Engineering Organization said: "In Iran, we have good conditions in terms of minerals, infrastructure and specialized manpower; Therefore, if a good and powerful trustee is selected for the mining sector, we can reach a good conclusion in a short time to replace minerals with oil.

Saebfar, in response to the question of what blow the absence of the minister will inflict on the mining sector, said: The absence of the minister in the ministry is like not having a managing director in the company. Although the company's finances and general affairs are somewhat advanced, its agents do not have the power to make decisions.

last word

Experts and activists in the mining sector believe that this sector is so important that we must separate the Ministry of Industry and Mines from the Ministry of Commerce. Looking at the history of this ministry, they emphasize that until the Ministry of Industry and Mines was separated from trade, we saw more growth in the mining sector.
