A stone fall killed the worker of Bajgiran Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari mine
Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Industry, Mining and Trade Organization: A stone fell from the walls of Bajigaran refractory mine in Kiar city of this province, leading to the death of one of the workers of this mine.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Mehrdad Ghasemi stated: On the morning of Sunday, August 25, a stone fell from the walls of the Bajigaran refractory mine, killing one of the mine workers, and the other workers are safe.
He added: "The news published in cyberspace about the collapse of this mine and the imprisonment of six workers under the rubble is rumored and is not true."
Bajgiran mine is located ninety kilometers southwest of the center of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari.
