Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran: The extension of the 20-year agreement between Iran and Russia is on the agenda of the Iranian diplomatic apparatus.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, upon his arrival in Moscow, in response to a question about whether March next year is the twentieth year of the Iran-Russia agreement and whether Iran has plans to extend the agreement, said: The contract is on our agenda, and if the Russian friends are ready to have another long-term contract, it can be considered, but the extension of the contract is definitely on our agenda.

Zarif added: "Following the talks between Mr. Rouhani and Mr. Putin, talks were scheduled to take place here."

"The relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation are strategic, and in the current situation where major developments are taking place at the international level, these talks need to be held regularly between us and the Russian government, as well as our other friends like the Chinese government." And this trip has been done for this reason, and God willing, it will have good results for the country.

Zarif emphasized: bilateral relations, the region and Borjam are among the issues that will be discussed during this trip.
