The "mass housing project" was finalized in the presence of Ministry of Road officials
The spokesman of the Civil Commission of the Majles announced the final review of the "mass housing production plan" in the presence of the officials of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development in today's meeting of this commission.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, this project, which has been prepared and developed with the cooperation and participation of the Parliamentary Research Center, Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, private sector, housing producers, Central Bank and other experts, provides cheap land, cheap facilities And emphasizes cheap building materials to build a house.
The parliament aims to build six million housing units from 1399 to 1405, which will be presented in the form of a plan, according to which the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development will be obliged to put the construction of one million housing units on the agenda annually.
Explaining today's meeting of the Civil Commission of the Majles, which was held in the presence of the officials of the Ministry of Roads, Seyyed Alborz Hosseini stated: In this meeting, the plan for mass production of housing was summarized. A land and housing fund was set up to concentrate funding for the project.
The representative of Khodabandeh people in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, stating that another issue discussed in today's meeting was the issue of providing construction materials for the implementation of mass housing production plan, continued: In the current situation, the deputies asked questions about The Ministers of Economy, Industry and Roads have decided that a meeting will be held on Tuesday in the presence of the relevant officials to review these cases, after which the final summary plan will be finalized and sent to the public to announce receipt.
Rezaei Kochi, the head of the Civil Commission of the previous parliamentary session, had said: "For years, there was a debate between the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and the Agricultural Jihad regarding urban areas." But according to the agreement reached last week, all urban lands equivalent to two hundred and fifty thousand hectares have been given to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, and these lands can be used for housing production.
Regarding bank facilities for housing production, he said: "Of the total facilities paid by banks, less than seven percent was allocated to the housing sector, but in this plan, at least twenty-five percent of the facilities paid by banks should be in the housing sector."
