According to the Iran International Stone Exhibition, Parvaneh Aslani, Director General of the Housing Economics Office of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, said about the details of the vacant house tax plan: "The specific proposal of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development is for people to offer their units by September." Taxes that must be paid from the beginning of the law are exempt.
The Director General of the Housing Economics Office of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development continued: "Also, those who wish to conclude their three-year lease contracts will be exempt from taxes on vacant houses and other taxes to be imposed on the housing sector."
Aslani explained: "If we consider the tax package on vacant houses as incentives along with some strict laws, it will definitely help balance the housing market and the rental market."
"Corruption can happen in any country and for any law, and there are ways to break the law," he said, referring to the problems and challenges facing law enforcement and legal circumventions in making some units uninhabitable with golden signatures. The director general of the Housing Economics Office stated: "If the implementation of the tax law on vacant houses can identify 50% of vacant houses and enter the housing market, it has fulfilled its mission, and gradually, the tax culture will gradually take root in the country."
Aslani explained: The real estate and housing system is a big event in the country, not only in terms of registering transactions, but also in terms of counting and identifying the residence of individuals.

Aslani explained that there are not many worries about vacant houses: because if there is no house, it will not be subject to this tax, and because the executive guarantees are provided in this law, now anyone who can keep his house empty will have a permit system. Will not give. So empty houses will be offered to the market.
Aslani added: the parliament intends to reform the rates in a way that does not cause any problems. Therefore, in this plan, no tax is to be collected on investment and only taxes are collected from housing market traders.
He said: for more than one hundred thousand vacant houses, this plan and collecting taxes from vacant houses will supply a part of vacant houses to the housing market, so by doing so, more than twice the production capacity of a country will enter the market.
