Head of the Iranian Mining Engineering Organization: More than fifty percent of the country's mines, due to the low volume of extraction, are considered the fourth grade in which the interns of this organization work.

According to the statistics of today (July 24) of the information base of the Mining Engineering Organization of Iran, the number of its members is forty thousand seven hundred and thirty-three, of which ten thousand five hundred and fifty-two are employed.
Also, while the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade has announced the number of active mines in the country to be five thousand and six hundred, the organization has mentioned the number of active mines on its website as seven thousand five hundred and sixty-two mines.
In addition, the number of technical managers of the mines is six thousand two hundred and thirty-two, which is one thousand three hundred and thirty mines without a technical manager in comparison with the number of active mines registered by this organization.
