According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Alireza Tabesh stated: The Housing Foundation of the Islamic Revolution has entered into the discussion of organizing suburbanization in some cities and has taken measures to reduce the risks of living in these areas.
Referring to the foundation's entry into organizing suburbanization in some cities, he said: "We are implementing the organization of ten thousand housing units on the outskirts of Zahedan, two thousand five hundred units in Chabahar and two thousand units in Mashhad."
The head of the Revolutionary Housing Foundation continued about providing facilities to the marginalized: "Providing facilities and free loans, as well as building roads are among the foundation's measures to revive the living environment in these areas."
Tabesh stated that the provision of facilities to the marginalized has started, and said: the amount of these facilities is fifty million Tomans and the desired areas have been introduced and assigned to the Housing Foundation by the municipalities and governorates in order to organize it as soon as possible. Emphasizing the important action of the foundation to organize the suburbs, he said: "One of our other measures is the transfer of land to the individual, so in Zahedan we have given 100 billion tomans to the municipalities, people who live in the suburbs will be introduced to the municipalities, and if If they have seized the municipal land, the municipality can collect their land tolls from the same money that we have given to the municipality.
The head of the Housing Foundation continued: "In this way, the residents of these lands will own land without paying money, and these lands will be registered in their names."
Tabesh, stating that all the roads in these neighborhoods are being repaired and constructed by the Housing Foundation, added: "We have allocated 100 billion tomans of credit for the construction of roads in these neighborhoods."
Regarding the possibility of relocating some residents from these neighborhoods, he said: "Some of their units are located along the roads and widening, they should be relocated from that place." Also, in these areas, the compaction and density is so high that it is not possible to organize it with this volume of density. Therefore, in these areas, probably 20% of the population should be relocated.
