According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, Hamid Zadboom, Director General of the Trade Development Organization, stated on the sidelines of the meeting of the Interim Trade Agreement between Iran and Eurasia: The agreement was reached in November last year between Iran and Eurasian member states, and under the terms of the agreement, a year after the initial talks, the interim agreement will become a permanent and free agreement.

He added: "In order to review the performance bills of this agreement, a joint working group between countries will be held once or twice a year, and today's meeting was held to address these issues."
 
The Director General of the Trade Development Organization stated: In today's meeting, which was the first working group of the Iran-Eurasia Agreement, the strengths and weaknesses, the past and the experiences of the parties to the agreement were examined.

Zadboom continued: "From October 27 this year, the interim agreement will be completed and the parties will enter free trade. In this regard, the Eurasian side, despite the sanctions imposed on the Islamic Republic, has placed great emphasis on trade with Iran." has it.

He added: "Currently, the volume of Eurasian Union's equations with the world is over eight hundred and sixty billion dollars, and our country's trade sector, in cooperation with this union, can contribute a significant amount of this amount to itself."

"Since November of last year, when this interim agreement was reached, Iran has traded over $ 2.1 billion with Eurasian member states, which we hope will increase to $ 5 billion, according to plans," he said. Let's increase.

Referring to the decrease in the number of Iran's trade consultations in different countries, Zadboom said: "Last year, the mission of Iran's 20 trade advisers ended, but their mission was not extended due to lack of budget, but this issue will not continue."
