Establish banking relations with Russia
Vice President of the Iran-Russia Joint Chamber of Commerce: The establishment of banking systems between Iran and Russia has enabled us to have more exports to Russia and a relative increase compared to previous years.
According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, Kambiz Mirkarimi said: "Iran's exports to Russia in the last two years have been below three hundred million dollars."
He added: "Last year, in the field of exports, Iran experienced a jump in weight and value."
The deputy chairman of the Iran-Russia Joint Chamber of Commerce added: "Russia usually does not buy natural or raw materials, because it has access to these resources itself."
He continued: "The variety of Iranian products for export is very high and this issue is important for different countries."
Referring to the exchange rate in Iran, Kambiz Mirkarimi explained: "The jump in the exchange rate compared to the rial has created various savings for the export sector, but this benefit did not reach the farmer or producer due to sanctions and weak banking infrastructure."
He added: "Russia is a cold country and in the cold seasons of the year, it needs products that are produced in the south of Iran."
Noting that some food industries have branches in Russia, the vice president of the Iran-Russia Joint Chamber of Commerce said: "The establishment of banking systems between Iran and Russia has made it possible for us to have more exports than in previous years." Let's face a relative increase.
Noting that many of the problems of road transport between Iran and Russia have been resolved, he explained: "Russia has a wide railway network, and today some lines of this capacity have entered Iran."
"If the two countries' financial balance is in good shape, trading in the national currency could be a good option, but in the event of a negative trade balance, the national currency will fall and we will have to use third-party money," said Karbiz Mirkarimi.
He stated that the Nima system does not pay enough attention to the ruble, adding: "Currently, Iranian and Russian companies prefer to complete the trade process through intermediary countries."
The Deputy Chairman of the Iran-Russia Joint Chamber of Commerce added: "The Central Bank should stop various companies from working with intermediaries by creating various incentives."
He added: "I think that good exports will be formed in the country this year, and the only threat in the field of exports could be corona and the re-emergence of this disease in the world."
