A group of citizens of Mehrizi, pointing out that there are small and large mines in the city, called for the need for participation and promotion of their share in sustainable development and employment in the year of the production leap.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, one of the most fundamental and effective factors for development and production and productive and useful employment in any region, especially in desert areas that are facing a water crisis, rational use of the capacity of industry and mining Is.

In Mehriz, despite its good mineral potential, in recent years, due to various reasons, the share of this sector has been less considered than other comprehensive development tools, while they must fulfill their social responsibility.

Proper and transparent management and planning to attract the participation of the mining sector in development and cooperation for employment is one of the important demands that has always been emphasized by the officials of the system and government care and should be used with better supervision and appropriate action.

In this regard, a group of Mehrizi citizens in an interview with the Islamic Republic of Iran News Agency, referring to the importance of production and employment and performing the duties of all sectors in order to serve the people, stressed the need for the mining sector and better participation in development.

Stating that this role and position in the city is not yet clear, despite the good efforts made over the past years, they called for following up and informing about the share of mines in the region in helping the development and employment of young people.

The share of mines in the development of the city is weak

One of the citizens of Mehrizi says: small and large mines in the city and some areas of the central part of the city have been operating for many years, but their role in helping the region for development and employment should be determined.

Hossein Zareian added: "Undoubtedly, the mines, in addition to the income they earn, must show more effort in response to some of the pollutions to their commitment and social responsibility and to help implement the required projects and to produce and employ them."

He said: "In many parts of the country, they benefit from the opportunity to have mines in their regions by obtaining funding for development projects, as well as cultural and social projects, which should be pursued in the region as well."

The citizen of Mehrizi stated: transparent activities should be seen in the eyes of the people to determine what the share of mines in the development of the city has been so far and if there is a problem, the authorities should take action to solve it within the framework of regulations.

Zareian said: "The development of the city is undoubtedly impossible without the participation of the private sector and the support of charities, especially the share of mines and industry, so it is expected that the authorities will strengthen their oversight and clarify Ibn Bakhsh's share with transparency."

Twenty-seven mining activities in Mehriz

Also, the Deputy Governor of Mehriz said: "According to the latest available statistics, there are currently twenty-seven mines in the city, of which twenty-two are active, and most of them are active in the sand and stone sectors."

The official added: "In addition, two percent of the tolls for the sale of mines should be paid to the municipalities, so given the presence of lead and zinc mines with mineral reserves of seven hundred million tons of minerals in the region and the existence of other mines can be a great help to the municipality." Had.

According to Abuii, despite the importance of the issue and the role of mines in the framework of system regulations and the commitment it should have in the development of the city, for reasons that are not clear, Mehriz Municipality has been ineffective or very limited in collecting related fees.

Mineral managers should act according to the law
