The country's geological and mineral exploration organizations and the Industrial Engineering Basij, in the framework of a memorandum of cooperation, will carry out joint projects with the approach of creating jobs in the field of small mines with an emphasis on gems.

According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, the Memorandum of Understanding between Scientific, Research and Educational Cooperation between the Geology and Mineral Exploration Organization and the Basij Organization of Industrial Engineering was signed this afternoon (Tuesday) by Alireza Shahidi, Deputy Minister of Industry and Ali Asghar Shahbazi.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the two sides with the aim of leaps in production and job creation with the aim of development in deprived areas and education of the target community and development of earth sciences and mineral exploration.

According to the report, the use of the capacity of specialized human capital with the approach of improving the level of specialized activities of earth sciences and exploration of mineral resources in the country in the form of joint projects has been mentioned as the main topic of this memorandum.

Also, specialized conferences, workshops, joint training courses in the framework of empowering and improving the scientific level of geology and mining graduates, geology and mining graduates introduced by Basij Engineering from the database of library science data and written scientific documents in accordance with the regulations of the Geological Survey and Action Organization. The country is part of the provisions of this memorandum.

 Providing appropriate conditions and cooperation to improve the knowledge of geology and mining specialists by supporting master's and doctoral dissertations, logistical support of joint programs at the provincial level are other topics of this memorandum.

 Establishment of a joint working group on bilateral activities in order to coordinate and organize projects, conduct scientific visits and mutual mineral tours for employees and employees of educational and research capacities and facilities and use of other research facilities including laboratories and specialized workshops according to the regulations of the Geological Survey and Mineral Exploration Organization. The country is defined as a field for cooperation between the two sides.

According to the report, the Geological and Mineral Exploration Organization of the country announced in the one-year period leading up to June this year that in the field of exploration of mineral resources (identification-search) the operation of handing over and releasing sixty exploration areas in the country, identification and search operations The amount of one hundred and thirty thousand square kilometers in the form of ten projects to identify and search for minerals for thirty-two different areas of the country, conducting public exploration operations in the form of sixteen areas is part of one-year activities.
