Four new mineral zones were identified in Hamedan
The head of the Hamedan Industry, Mining and Trade Organization announced the identification of four new mineral zones for the province.
According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, Hamidreza Matin stated: "These areas are promising areas for exploration and exploitation of mineral rocks."
He emphasized: the mentioned areas are mostly located in the southern regions of the province, which according to the geophysical studies, the experts are rich in metal mineral reserves, especially iron, lead, copper and gold.
The head of the Hamedan Industry, Mining and Trade Organization said: "From the above four zones, the search and identification operations of the two zones have been completed, and other zones are completing the information and passing the necessary processes."
Matin, referring to the activities of two hundred and eighty-three mines and three hundred and twenty-four mining industries in the province, added: Hamedan has more potentials in the field of mining exploration, which can be activated by defining new zones.
In Hamedan province, there are thirty types of minerals, of which silica, feldspar, granite and dolomite are among the leading minerals of this region.
