Twenty percent increase in mineral reserves on the agenda
Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade: Activation of 25% of the country's inactive mines is in the work plan of the Ministry of Industry this year.
According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, Dariush Ismaili during his one-day trip to Khuzestan province on the sidelines of a visit to the province's mines, which was attended by the head of the Khuzestan Province Industry, Mining and Trade Organization, said: 4,400 mines out of a total of ten One thousand five hundred mines are inactive in the country.
He added: "Other work programs with this year's priority of the Ministry of Industry in the mining sector are an increase of 20% in mineral reserves, an increase of 25% in mining and a 20% increase in mineral production."
