Action of the Ministry of Industry to revive one thousand and twenty mines
According to the policies of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, during the first quarter of this year, two hundred and eleven inactive industrial units were reopened by the Organization of Small Industries and Industrial Towns in different provinces of the country.
According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, the meeting was attended by Hossein Modarres Khiabani, head of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, representatives of regulatory bodies and deputy ministers of economy, roads and urban development.
In this meeting, according to the report provided by the Small Industries and Industrial Towns Organization, during the first quarter of this year, two hundred and eleven inactive units in industrial towns across the country were re-launched and returned to production.
According to the policy, another 1,500 inactive industrial units will be returned to production in industrial estates by the end of this year.
Also, in line with the policy of rehabilitating stagnant units in industrial towns and inactive mines across the country, it is planned to return 1,200 inactive mines to production in a similar measure.
At the same time, one of the topics discussed at the meeting of the production leap camp is the uninterrupted supply of raw materials needed by manufacturing plants, the related mechanisms of which, in the presence of the CEO of the Ports and Maritime Organization, representatives of the Central Bank, Customs of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It was reviewed and agreed.
Accordingly, members of the Production Jump Camp, while appreciating the Central Bank's efforts to improve the allocation of foreign exchange, called for the continuation of the supply of foreign exchange needed by manufacturing plants in the year of the Production Leap.
There was also a report on the actions taken by the Trade Development Organization of Iran in the field of foreign exchange return from exports and dealing with those exporters whose return on foreign exchange earnings from exports is zero.
According to the decision of the Production Jump Camp, it was decided that the list of raw materials available in the country's ports will be provided to the Customs of the Islamic Republic of Iran by the Ports and Maritime Organization. Prioritize them.
The main message of the meeting of the production leap camp to the country's producers was that the government will provide the currency needed for the raw materials of the factories in any case.
