The head of the Iran-China Chamber of Commerce believes that the government's decision has no legal basis and that the government cannot impose a general restriction on exporters. The government has made such decisions for importers and exporters in emergencies.

According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, the government's recent restrictions on the supply of foreign exchange resources have led to emergency decisions in the field of exports and imports, which will bring another decision today. In one of its latest decisions, the government has set a $ 500,000 export ceiling for people whose business cards have been issued this year. It also threatens that exporters who do not meet their foreign exchange obligations will have their business cards revoked. On the other hand, the Central Bank has warned that it will publish their names. Because a look at the exporters shows that most of the country's exports are made by giant steel, gas, mining companies, etc., and the parties to the government's warnings and threats are those companies that have hampered the country's foreign exchange reserves.

Majid Reza Hariri said: "This decision of the government has no legal basis and the government cannot set a general restriction for exporters." The government has made such decisions for importers and exporters in emergencies.

He continued: "It is unlikely that such decisions will help the government even in emergencies." It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. They export with their national identity and number, and the government knows who these people are.

Hariri said that if a person does not return foreign currency exports in the first year, it is a violation and should be dealt with according to the law. These people must be treated according to the rules and regulations. In addition, restrictions must be imposed on them.

Noting that most non-oil exports in the country are made by large state-owned companies, he said: "Non-oil exports include gas exports, oil and petrochemical condensate, mining, steel, etc., which account for about seventy to eighty-five percent of the country's exports." Forms. A large amount of foreign currency that has not been returned to the country has been used by them. Many of these large corporations are owned by institutions, organizations, or governments.

"While we have about fifty to sixty major exporters in the private sector, much less than in the public sector," he said. The government recently announced that between 100 and 200 major exporters have refused to return $ 22 billion in export currency.

The head of the Iran-China Chamber of Commerce said: "Many of the big exporters who have not returned the currency are those who had taken tens of tens to several hundred million dollars of foreign exchange worth 4,200 tomans." The central bank must deal with these people. After all, the government has complete and comprehensive information on exporters and must act in accordance with the law.
