Non-oil exports await Supreme Council decisions
At the 22nd meeting of the Expert Committee on Non-Oil Export Development, the Deputy Minister and Director General of the Trade Development Organization of Iran mentioned the need to increase the powers of the High Council for Non-Oil Export Development, reduce the decision-making process and announce important decisions.
According to the Iran International Stone Exhibition, Hamid Zadboom, Deputy Minister and Director General of the Trade Development Organization of Iran, stated: In the next meeting of the High Council for Non-Oil Export Development, which will be chaired by the First Vice President this week, In previous meetings, expert committees and expert working groups will be decided in the presence of executive bodies and non-governmental sectors, and various executive solutions will be envisaged to resolve issues and problems on the way to export.
He added: "Considering the goals and programs envisaged for exporting goods and services this year and the need to facilitate export conditions and routes for currency pricing with the priority of neighboring markets, all relevant executive agencies should plan and mobilize facilities and resources to achieve quantitative goals." Exports have been working hard this year to quickly remove barriers to exports and exporters.
The Director General of the Trade Development Organization of Iran and the Secretary of the High Council for the Development of Non-Oil Exports said: "One of the essential requirements in the field of foreign trade is to provide timely statistics and information by the Iranian Customs as a pillar of planning and timely analysis."
Zadboom also praised the cooperation of agencies that work to create platforms to help export development, in line with major export policies and programs.
It is worth mentioning that the 21st Extraordinary Session of the Expert Committee of the High Council for Non-Oil Export Development was held in the presence of the Secretary of the High Export Council, representatives of the executive bodies and the non-governmental sector.
