southern Khorasan; Iran's mineral paradise
With the efforts of the authorities, the capacity of the mines in South Khorasan has become more visible in recent years, and investments have been made in this sector.
According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, South Khorasan Province is one of the most important mining provinces in the country in terms of diversity and amount of mineral reserves. In this province, there are more than forty known types of minerals, three hundred and forty-eight active mines, five hundred and eighty-eight mines with exploitation licenses, and more than seven billion tons of definitively identified reserves.
In recent years, with extensive investment in this sector, efforts have been made to make this rich capacity more recognizable, a capacity that may have been neglected so far.
southern Khorasan; One of the most important exploratory priorities in the country
Ali Asgharzadeh, director of exploration at Iran's Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization, said: "South Khorasan is one of the most important exploratory priorities in the country due to its extraordinary geological characteristics, which are currently being explored in 11 exploration zones in the province."
He added: "Of these eleven zones in the province, four are being developed by Imidro, six are being developed by the company and one is being operated by the Paya Consortium."
The Director of Exploration of the Organization for Development and Renovation of Mines and Mining Industries of Iran continued: Four zones of Ferdows-Ghaen, North Lut and Central Iran and the border strip zone in South Khorasan are being identified by Imidro.
He said that there are three licensed areas in the border area, adding that these areas include lithium, copper and gold minerals.
Imidro's director of exploration said: "In Ferdows-Qaen, forty-seven ranges have been identified, in the northern Lut area, twenty-seven ranges, and in Central Iran, nine ranges, with new potential."
Asgharzadeh noted that most of these areas include metals such as gold, copper, lead and zinc, and iron in some areas.
He said: "Due to the numerous areas of aerial geophysics in South Khorasan, heavy investment has been made and the cost of exploration of aeronautical geophysics has been paid over two hundred billion tomans, and this year over fifty billion tomans of exploration costs of projects are being worked on."
Imidro's exploration director stated that each exploration license costs up to 100 billion tomans until it becomes a mine, adding: "By doing these costs by Imidro, by creating information and transparency, the investment risk will be reduced and will be desired by the private sector." We will move towards the transfer of boundaries.
The director of exploration of Iran's Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (Imidro) said: "The result of the explorations carried out in four hundred thousand square kilometers in the country has been the discovery of seven hundred and sixty new exploration areas."
He added: "Of this number, two hundred and eighty cases have been selected by Imidro to continue the work, and the rest have been given to the Provincial Industry Organization to be handed over to the private sector in accordance with the regulations."
The director of exploration of Iran's Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (Imidro) continued: "For this number of areas, seventy-two exploration licenses have been issued to Imidro and out of this number, twelve ranges have been certified. Is assigned.
He said: "Since 1392, more than six hundred and sixty thousand square kilometers of mining area in thirty provinces of the country, its exploratory phases have begun and by the end of last year, four hundred thousand square kilometers of these areas have been identified and researched."
Exploration Director of the Organization for Development and Renovation of Mines and Mining Industries of Iran stated: Imidro has started extensive exploration activities in the whole country to provide food for the existing mining industries.
Asgharzadeh said Imidro is trying to explore new areas with extensive exploration and attract private sector investors to the country's strategic metals, such as iron ore, copper, lead and zinc, coal, bauxite, gold, antimony and magnesium potassium. Slow down.
The director of exploration of the empowerment plan of the Exploration Department of the Organization for Development and Renovation of Mines and Mining Industries of Iran said: About 60% of the country's aerospace geophysics cost has been done in South Khorasan.
Imidro's activity in the mining exploration sector of South Khorasan
Kiamars Sherkhani, the director of exploration of the Imidro exploration empowerment project, also stated: In addition to South Khorasan, Imidro is engaged in exploration activities in thirty-one areas in 30 provinces.
Referring to Imidro's activity in the mining exploration section of South Khorasan, he said: "Since 1392, the exploration of the South Khorasan border strip has been followed."
He continued: "After identifying, following the first and second stages, we have gone through public exploration and entered other phases."
The director of exploration of the Imidro Exploration Empowerment Project stated: The Ferdows-Qaen and Lut areas are areas where aerial geophysics has been performed and the western area has been performed with aerial geophysics.
He said that Imidro is located in three areas of the border strip, adding that out of a total of twenty-five areas of the 6,000-square-kilometer border strip in the Mahirud area, physical work is underway, with the potential for copper and iron.
The director of exploration of the Imidro exploration empowerment project, referring to the passage of seven years since the start of Imidro exploration work in the province, said: "During this period, the exploration steps and its phases have been completed."
He added: "In the first phase, twenty-five ranges have been introduced, and in the next phases, due to the development of exploration, some ranges were not talented, so now we are working with three ranges."
Shirkhani said: "The complex of three licensed areas in South Khorasan is about 300 square kilometers, but in the areas of Lut and Ferdows-Qaen, we are working with blocks that have been identified in different phases of exploration."
mine; The focus of the South Khorasan Land Plan
Mushir al-Haq Abedi, the deputy governor of South Khorasan for economic affairs, also said: "The focus of the South Khorasan land management plan is the mining sector, and in order to achieve sustainable development and employment, we must go in this direction."
He added: "Aerial geophysics has been implemented in South Khorasan as the second province in the country and after discussing studies, we are looking for exploration issues."
Abedi stressed that the identification of promising blocs should be completed within the next six months at the latest. It is a strong consulting company with seven contractors in the first phase in the province.
The Deputy Governor of South Khorasan for Economic Affairs Coordination, referring to the mineral potentials of South Khorasan, said: "The presence of young people in the mining sector of the province is important and valuable for the future of this field."
More than seventy-five percent of the country's coal reserves are in South Khorasan
Mohammad Sadegh Motamedian, the governor of South Khorasan, also stated: South Khorasan is one of the top provinces in the field of mines and the amount of minerals in different parts of the province also shows its importance.
He said that there are more than forty types of minerals in South Khorasan, adding: "South Khorasan has many blessings, including mines, and this province has more than seventy-five percent of the country's reserves in the discussion of coal."
The governor of South Khorasan stated that more than ten thousand people are working in the mines of the province, and specified: South Khorasan should have a serious systematic and technical involvement in the discussion of studies and exploration.
Motamedian stated that Imidro Company, one of the largest mining companies in the country, is investing 300 billion and 50 billion Rials in mineral exploration, adding that the sale of raw mineral products is also one of the problems in the province.
South Khorasan becomes the country's mineral honey
He continued: "If we want the province to grow and develop, we must process the mines because we will not achieve development and progress by selling raw materials."
The governor of South Khorasan pointed out: The output products in different areas of the mines are also the result of the day and night efforts of the miners of the province and we should not allow the revenues of the mines to go out of the province raw.
Motamedian pointed out: "Focus on mines is one of the priorities in the province, which will be transformed into the country's Assaluyeh mineral mine through investment in the private sector and the public sector and targeting the long-term outlook for South Khorasan."
