Head of Qom Industry, Mining and Trade Organization: In the year of production leaps, in order to increase the level of income generation of economic activity in the province's mines, the process of selling raw minerals will be reformed.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Mahmoud Sijani stated: Qom has important capacities in the field of mining and in this sector, it is possible to generate wealth and create widespread employment, especially in the field of mineral processing.

He added: "The sale of raw materials for minerals in Qom should be modified and these materials should be converted into various products in the equipped processing units and then offered to the consumer market so that the value-added activity in this sector reaches the expected level."

He continued: "For this purpose, in accordance with the required licenses for the operation of processing units along with Qom mines, in compliance with environmental standards, there are 2 good facilities and investors are supported in this sector."

Pointing out that we can use Qom's mines in the best possible way for the development of the province, Sijani said: "Of course, this goal requires the cooperation of executive bodies and operating banks.

He said: "One of the expected factors for increasing the share of mines in the economic development of the province is the modernization of equipment and machinery in this sector, which can play an important role in improving the process of exploration and extraction of minerals."

He continued: "We are trying to promote green mines in order to optimally manage natural resources and the environment during the development of mining activities in Qom."

At present, ninety-eight mines are active in the province with an investment of more than one thousand and sixty-five billion rials and job creation for one thousand two hundred and ninety-four tons.

In general, one hundred and eighty-two mining licenses have been issued, of which ninety-eight mines are active and forty-eight mines are on the auction list.

Qom is one of the areas with high capacity in the field of mining, and paying attention to this economic field can bring a high income for the province.

There are two percent of the country's total mines in Qom, and this shows the need to pay more attention to the capacities of this field to increase the level of revenues in the province; In this regard, the strategy of Qom Industry, Mining and Trade Organization is to prevent the sale of raw materials extracted from minerals so that by processing them, more economic value will be created in the mining sector of the province.

استانThe most important known reserves of the province include metal mines (lead, zinc, copper, manganese), non-metallic mines (kaolin, barite, salt and sodium sulfate) and minerals of building materials (decorative stones, marble, granite, carcass stones and carcasses, silt). Gypsum) that by using new designs and optimal use of these minerals, it is possible to create lucrative businesses in the field of mineral industries in the province.
