A group of representatives of the mining organizations of Markazi province raised the problems of their field with the Deputy Minister of Mines and Industries of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade and called for solving the obstacles ahead.

According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, the meeting was held at the Central Governorate and various issues and problems of the province's mining sector were discussed.

The representative of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines and the Mining House of Markazi Province said in this meeting: the revival of small inactive mines should be given serious attention.

 Mohammad Hossein Heydari added: "Revival of these mines has an effective role in realizing the leap of production, and taking advantage of the capacities of this sector means increasing productivity."

He said: "Investors in this sector should be given special support so that the wheels of the economy in the field of industry and mining remain smooth."

University with the development of industry and mining

The President of Arak University of Technology also said in this meeting: "This university has a good potential and capability in the field of earth sciences, and taking advantage of this capacity is the key to solving many of Kowsar's problems."

 Hamidreza Rezaei Ashtiani added: "Hepco and Azarab are two companies in the discussion of making machines, and Arak University of Technology is ready to cooperate with these companies to build and design mineral machines."

He said that the construction of mining machinery by these companies has an effective role in reducing the value of the country.

The president of Arak University of Technology continued: "This university is also ready to create new fields of mineral machinery."

Lack of sub-units in stone processing

The representative of Markazi Province Engineering Organization also said in the continuation of this meeting: it is necessary to increase the amount of salaries received by the senior technical officials in supervising the mines.

Ahmad Gholami added: "Prioritizing mining discovery certificates is another necessity that should be considered."

He said: "The lack of stone processing units is a serious problem that support and attention to this sector has an effective role in increasing employment."

Small mines need attention and worn-out Achilles heel machines develop the stone industry

The representative of the Central Province Mining Workers' Union said at the meeting: "Most of the attention to the mines is strong and the view of the weak mines is low."

Hossein Boalhassani added: "Many weak mines have difficulty working and some have been closed due to lack of support."

He said: "The issue of mine safety is becoming more difficult day by day, and for the safety of the mines, the cooperative reserves of the mines must be taken into account and the balance must be balanced in the harvests."

The representative of the Central Province Mining Workers' Union continued: "Mineral machinery is worn out and the government needs to provide serious support for the purchase of new machinery."

The head of the Mahallat County Stone Association also said at the meeting: "This association has two hundred and eighty-five members and the identity card of the decorative stone of Mahallat city has been compiled and its initial contracts have been done."

"Hossein Soroush" added: "It is planned to launch two fields in the field of mining in the new academic year with the cooperation of Mahallat Azad University."

He said: Arak Machinery Company and Hepco Company have the ability to build mineral cranes and agreements have been signed with these companies regarding educational issues.

The head of Mahallat County Stone Association continued: "Increasing exports and optimal use of stone waste is a priority of the association's programs."

Soroush said that most of the products of export companies remain in the country and that serious support is needed in this regard.

He said: "Increasing the cost price will increase the price of stone and reduce the strength of competition with foreign competitors, which should be taken seriously."

The head of Mahallat County Stone Association added: "Many investments have been made in the Mahallat County Stone Fair section, and the private sector has fulfilled its obligations in this regard, and the public sector needs to fulfill the necessary commitments and support."

Soroush said: "There are problems with the transfer of land with the company of the towns of Markazi province, which has affected the investment."

The representative of the Arak Mountain Sand Association also said in the continuation of this meeting: "Capacity assessment is necessary for the new mining licenses."

Abolfazl Ismaili added: "Some administrative affairs in the Industry, Mining and Trade Organization have become long-term due to the shortage of Nizo, and it is necessary to give more authority to the engineering system and the Mining House."

The CEO of Iralco Iran also said at the meeting: "This company produces seventy percent of the ingots needed in the country and provides them to 11,000 factories and sub-workshops, creating 250,000 job opportunities in the country."

Ahmad Majidi added: "Aluminum metal is under the most severe sanctions and Iralco and the chairman of the company's board are on the black list of sanctions."

He said: "Eighty percent of raw materials in the form of eighteen items of the company's goods weighing four hundred thousand tons are supplied through imports, and the company needs twenty-five million dollars a month to supply these items, which are still through affiliated companies." Imidro was supplied, but the company recently announced that it would provide forty-five percent of the required currency.

The CEO of Iralco Iran continued: "This company needs at least two hundred million dollars of foreign exchange to supply its raw materials, which should be considered."

The representative of the Aluminum Profile Manufacturers Association of Markazi Province also said: "There is no export of ingots for downstream aluminum companies, and providing the necessary licenses in this regard has an effective role in increasing employment and providing part of the country's currency."

Mohammad Bahrami added: "It is necessary to support Iralco's downstream industries."

Markazi province, with twelve cities, has a population of more than one million and four hundred thousand people.

During his one-day visit to Markazi province, the Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade, while visiting the mines of Delijan, Mahallat and Khomein counties, participated in a meeting with stone industry activists.

Meeting with the representative of the Supreme Leader in the province and participating in the meeting of the Mining Council were other programs of the Deputy Minister of Industry.

Markazi province with about five hundred and fifty mines ranks seventh in the country in this field and so far out of fifty-seven types of minerals in the country, forty-two types have been identified in Markazi province, of which thirty-five minerals are in this region. It is exploited.

More than 4,000 workers work in the mines of Markazi province.
