The multiplicity of laws is a threat to foreign trade
Director General of Iran's Customs: So far, two hundred and twenty authorized economic activists have been registered and the goods of these people have been cleared.
According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, Mehdi Mirashrafi stated: "Last year, the amount of export of goods was one hundred and thirty-five tons and the amount of import was thirty-five tons, which was a good record and the value of foreign trade was about eighty-five billion dollars." That is the best answer to the ill-wishers who wanted to lock the country's trade.
The director general of Iran's customs added: "Eighty percent of the imported goods were goods that were used for the production and machinery sector of this sector."
He also announced the identification of authorized economic activists and said: so far, two hundred and twenty authorized economic activists have been registered and the goods of these people have been cleared.
Mirashrafi continued: The green route has increased from thirty-five percent in 1397 to fifty-one percent last year. In addition, in order to facilitate imports, Customs has begun to electronicize its activities.
The director general of Iran's customs said: "In order to make customs smart, the software of this organization will be installed on mobile phones. We hope that in addition to electronic activities, we will also advance the smartening of customs during the government week."
He added: "The controls of the Customs Organization have been upgraded from annoying and tangible to non-intrusive and intangible. The native software produced by the youth has been used for non-intrusive and intangible controls."
Regarding the threats of foreign trade, Mirashrafi said: "One of the threats to foreign trade is the multiplicity of laws and regulations." More than thirty-five organizations have complex foreign exchange rules and regulations. The multiplicity of policy makers is also one of the problems in this sector.
