Investment of one thousand four hundred and forty two billion in the mines of Markazi province
Head of Markazi Province Industry, Mining and Trade Organization: One thousand four hundred and forty two billion Rials were invested in the mines of different parts of this province last year, which played an effective role in the prosperity of production in this sector.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Saeed Jafari-Karroudi added: "Investment in the mines of Markazi province has created four hundred and seventy-five new job opportunities, which has grown significantly compared to a year ago."
He continued: "Also, forty-three exploration licenses, twenty-six discovery certificates and forty-seven mining licenses were issued in Markazi province, which will create significant job opportunities in this province."
The head of the Central Province's Industry, Mining and Trade Organization added: The mining capacity of this province has reached 2 million and fifty-eight thousand tons and their definite reserves have reached twenty-four million three hundred and twenty-one thousand tons.
Jafari Karahrudi described travertine ore mines as one of the most important minerals in Markazi province and said: One hundred and thirty-five mines with exploitation licenses, including eighty-five travertine and marble construction stone mines, operate in Mahallat city, which is more than sixty percent of travertine. They provide the country.
Markazi province with about five hundred and fifty mines ranks seventh in the country in this field and so far out of fifty-seven types of minerals in the country, forty-two types have been identified in Markazi province, of which thirty-five minerals are in this region. It is exploited.
More than 4,000 workers work in the mines of Markazi province.
