Non-oil exports rose 60 percent
New customs statistics on the country's foreign trade show that Iran's non-oil exports have increased by 60 percent in terms of value compared to April.
According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, customs spokesman Seyed Ruhollah Latifi said: "The country's foreign trade in the first two months of the year reached twenty-one million tons, of which fourteen and a half million tons were exported and about half a million tons." Imports have been.
He said: "The value of Iran's record of twenty-one million tons in these two months reaches nine billion three hundred and forty-one million dollars, of which the share of exports from the announced number assembly is four billion and three hundred million dollars and imports are five billion forty-four million." Regarding the foreign trade record in May, he added: "In this month, we witnessed the export of nine million seven hundred and seventy-six thousand tons of goods worth two billion and six hundred and forty-eight million dollars, which in terms of weight compared to April 1977." Regarding the country's main export destinations in the first two months of the year, Latifi said: "Five countries destined to export Iranian non-oil goods during this period are China with one billion and one hundred and ninety million dollars and a share of more than twenty-seven percent, and Iraq with one billion."
