A tripartite memorandum of understanding was signed between the Organization for the Development and Renovation of Iran's Mining and Mining Industries (Imidro), the Deputy Minister of Mines, and the Geological Survey of Iran.

According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, the document was signed between Khodadad Gharibpour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Imidro, Dariush Ismaili, Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of the Ministry of Industry, and Ali Reza Shahidi, Head of the Geological Survey of Iran.

The above Memorandum of Understanding was signed in accordance with Article 5 of the Mining Law and in order to "develop cooperation in the field of exploration, extraction and processing of minerals, utilization of capacities, experiences and capabilities of each sector, synergy and development of national capacity to create wealth in mining." So that the groundwork for further participation of the private and cooperative sectors of the country in mining affairs was provided.

This document has been exchanged for three years in order to accelerate the country's exploration activities and considering the importance of exploration in the sustainable development of the country and the need to develop inter-sectoral cooperation. The subject of the Memorandum of Understanding is the implementation of cooperation on the basis of a specific and distinct subject, separately for each project, and with the heading and description of specific services in the form of an agreement or contract.

It is stipulated that all three parties form a memorandum of understanding between the Joint Steering Committee, which is tasked with reviewing the proposed plans and preparing and approving the service descriptions. The Joint Committee should design the appropriate structure to oversee the description of the above services.

Imidro's investment program of one thousand billion rials

According to this document, Imidro undertook to provide the credit limit of one thousand billion Rials (annually) for the costs of performing the description of exploration operations services in accordance with the rules and regulations.
