The Secretary of the East Azerbaijan Mining House, referring to the situation of the province's mines in the corona conditions, said: And contribute to the country's economy.

No mines were shut down because of Corona
He said that no mines in East Azerbaijan had been shut down due to the Corona outbreak. "There are about 553 active mines in the province, and all of them continued to operate under difficult corona conditions," he said.
Mehrdad states: In the mining sector of the province, there are more than seven thousand five hundred direct jobs and more than thirty thousand indirect jobs.
He points out that the majority of mines in the province are open and the activity is carried out in the open air, and it is quite possible to implement all the social distance protocols in it.

"Given that the whole world has been affected by the corona virus, the units that export their products have certainly had problems with exports, as well as the mining units or the mining industry," he said. Fear of corona along with the harsh working conditions in the mine
