The foreign exchange resources required for this project will be obtained by saving on fuel consumption of vehicles (during the operation of the vehicle subject to the project and the projected survey).
Part of the Rial resources required for the project will be provided to the applicants through the banking network in the form of sixty-month facilities, which will bring cash to the applicants in the registration stage of 20% of the car value.
"The issue of importing used second-hand trucks, which is on the agenda these days, is not in the scope of Idro's work and the commercial fleet modernization plan," he said.
The Roads and Transportation Organization, in line with its diverse activities to modernize the country's cargo fleet and use all the legal capacities set forth in the permanent development rules, intends to accelerate the modernization process and pursuant to Article 30 of the Third Plan. He added: "With the participation of the National Development Fund, efforts were made to pay the money that was to be paid later from the fuel savings to the carmaker's advance payment and the drivers would pay the installments."
The official continued: "In the first phase, the use of these facilities was foreseen for 5,000 vehicles, but in the next 18,000 planned vehicles, the work was stopped due to sanctions."
