The head of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade said that the President's orders in the field of inactive mining and paying attention to small and medium mines are the main topics of the mine's activities.

According to Iran International Stone Exhibition, Hossein Modarres Khiabani in today's evening meeting of the Supreme Council of Mines, referring to the President's instructions on paying special attention to mines and mineral industries in the new period of activity of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, said: The first priority of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade and it can be clearly said that the capabilities of this sector are so great that if it is supposed to manage Iran's economy as a single product after oil, mining and mineral industries are among the sectors that It can carry a heavy burden.

The head of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade added: "Iran's unparalleled capacity in mineral reserves and the diversity of mineral elements in Iran's soil, has the ability to replace oil revenues in the administration of the country." However, it is important to note that despite these unique potentials available to Iran in terms of mineral reserves, the explorations have been made in such a way that the bulk of these reserves remain unused.

The street teacher said that the mines were a God-given gift that should be used in the best way. He explained the details of the President's orders in the field of activating small and medium mines and noted that the President's orders should focus on setting and implementing this year's priorities. Be the country's mining industry; However, setting up passive mines is one of the ministry's serious agendas.

He went on to point out that there are inactive mines in the country: some administrative manipulations, inability of exploiters, incompatibility of costs and investments, as well as some misuse of mining privileges are among the reasons for inactivation of mines; However, with the set of measures that will be used, it is necessary to provide the ground for the mine to jump this year.

The street teacher pointed to the significant job creation in the mining and mineral industries sector in the country and emphasized the need for job creation in the current situation of the country: Many small and medium mines with very limited investment per capita can set up and return to production cycle; While employment in these mines is high-yield, and similar to the industrial sector, investors must be activated in large mines to be at the forefront of the production chain, and in parallel, use the capacity of small and medium-sized mines to develop employment.

He said: "Some people have obtained licenses from the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade to exploit the mines and have suspended the work without taking effective action on that mine, according to which the Ministry of Industry, Mines and The business is tasked with reviewing the mining process once again and revoking its license if the operator does not have sufficient reasons not to operate the mine.

The street teacher believes that the Supreme Council of Mines can play an accelerating role in the leap in the mining sector, given the high role of private policy and participation, associations, regulatory and policy bodies.

"No one can be allowed to book and mine a mine, but not work on it," he said. Therefore, these people should be given a deadline and a warning to be active in this field, otherwise the license of a mine should not remain in the hands of dysfunctional people who will only be abused.

The head of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade once again emphasized to the Ministry of Mines on the implementation of the President's points in the field of mining and mineral industries and said: "Over the past years, some corruptions have been created in the field of mining and some rents and discrimination have taken place." However, the executive mechanisms of this ministry have in some cases been inefficient and sometimes supervised by appeasement.

Emphasizing the need for monitoring in the mining and mineral industries, the street teacher stressed that a balance must be struck between executive and regulatory mechanisms, in the sense that oversight must be very strong but not lead to severe bureaucracy; So, in addition to strengthening the oversight process with various tools, the umbrella should have broader support for licensing and exploration licenses, but also pave the way for economic and private sector activity within the framework of efficient oversight.

He called on the Supreme Council of Mines to design and communicate an efficiency index for the mines in the provinces, and to work with the provinces on a weekly basis to measure the performance of the mines across the country.

The street teacher said that the performance index will also be defined in such a way that the ratio of inactive mines to the total number of active mines will be monitored and evaluated in a relevant way.

He added that the whole country should be involved in the growth and development of the mines and mining industries, and that the general managers of the provinces should evaluate and monitor the performance of the mining sector in the cuts made by the Deputy Minister of Mines.

The street teacher believes that in the year of the production leap, one of the sectors that can make a huge and operational leap is the mining sector and the mining industry, and asked the Supreme Council of Mines to come up with a new plan in the mining sector. .

Emphasizing the need to prioritize the closure of provinces with mineral potential, he added: "Working groups and mining centers should be established in the provinces with priority in terms of mining and mineral industries, and all programs should have a provincial cut;" In addition, the report on the performance of the mines by provinces should be prepared and public information should be provided, and on the other hand, the relevant director should explain the reason for the inactivity of the mines.

He said: "Today, the private sector must move side by side with the government in running the country, because the Iranian economy is facing a difficult path and economic activists, along with demanding, must move alongside the government; Accordingly, the Mining House in the provinces must also carry out part of this task and be in line with the policies of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade based on the President's order.

The head of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade called for the use of new technologies in the field of mining exploration and chain, and said: .

He added: "The whole production chain must move together, this is in a situation where the interests of the whole chain must be tied together to prevent conflicts and the growth of one sector, complementary and in the sense of the growth of another sector."
