Increase production by relying on mining knowledge
Imidro Training Manager: The personnel of many small mines need specialized mining training such as firefighting, drilling, underground mining methods and environmental issues.
According to Iran International Stone Exhibition, the Chairman of Imidro's Executive Board recently stressed the need to allocate part of the budget of mining companies and mining companies to develop research and development programs from the capital increase and the need for this important said: contracts between Imidro and universities with an approach Localization reduces foreign exchange needs.
Khodadad Gharibpour emphasized: "Considering the importance of the relationship between the university and industry in the leap of production, this year the participatory programs between Imidro and the universities are more important than before."
Processing growth with knowledge
Gholamreza Molataheri, Imidro's director of education, said that this year we are facing problems due to the outbreak of coronavirus, which we should be able to solve and advance our plans. "Imidro has had good programs in the field of education and research since last year," He has held monthly meetings to revive small and large private sector mines. The meetings, organized in collaboration with the Minerals Production Company, the Mining Investment Fund and the Processing Research Center, sought to increase the training of mining activists.
Referring to the importance of using up-to-date knowledge in the mining sector, Imidro's director of education said: "In the field of research and technology, we are trying to make modern technology available to small private sector mines." In this regard, we used Note 10 of the Budget Law so that we can define the processing project for the mines in cooperation with the country's universities, without paying any fees.
He continued: "In fact, by doing so, we will deliver the certificate to the miner so that he knows the limits of the processing required for economic production." Imidro has set this version for passive mines so they can thrive.
Emphasizing that Imidro has met the training needs of the mines, Mulla Taheri said: "The personnel of many small mines need specialized mining training such as firefighting, drilling, underground mining methods and environmental issues." Imidro provides the necessary knowledge to the small, large-scale and large mines of the private sector for free, in connection with the Engineering Systems Organization and the universities, in order to increase productivity and take an effective step towards the growth of production in the country.
The win-win relationship between the university and the authorities
Rasoul Hamidzadeh Moghaddam, Associate Professor, Faculty of Mining Engineering, Sahand University of Technology, Tabriz, said about the state of the university's relationship with mining companies: "At the moment, this relationship is not ideal; Therefore, we have proposed to the Deputy Minister of Mines of the Industry, Mining and Trade Organization of East Azerbaijan Province to consider the university as the scientific advisor of this organization and to benefit from the experiences of professors and universities.
The associate professor of the Faculty of Mining Engineering, Sahand University of Technology, Tabriz, referring to the performance of professors in the country's universities, said: Provide miners. Professors are interested in getting the most out of their students and being able to find a job that is relevant to their field of study.
Hamidzadeh Moghaddam continued: "Mining is one of the fields that students should visit the mines regularly and see the mine closely." Based on my experience at various universities in Iran, Germany and the Netherlands, I try to visit students at least once a semester; But I don't expect the student to realize the value of the visit right away because he understands it over time.
"Today, the situation of student visits has improved," he said. In provinces such as Isfahan, Yazd, Kerman and Azerbaijan, students are well-off and can make regular visits to mines, but in Tehran, because no one has the patience for administrative formalities and coordination, this is still not being done properly.
Hamidzadeh Moghaddam, referring to the importance of the relationship between the university and relevant officials in the mining sector, said: "Since every decision requires accurate and comprehensive information, the country's managers must refer to basic and comprehensive information to make decisions about mining and mining."
He stressed: "If the university can provide technical and technological information to the decision makers in a realistic way, it has contributed to the growth of industry and mining." This is achieved in a situation where the managers of the country's industry and mining sector also understand the importance of this issue.
Babian said that the relationship between the university and the officials is a two-way, win-win relationship. "Currently, fifty percent of the students in the field of mining are studying for master's and doctoral degrees, and the officials can use their knowledge to accelerate the country's economic growth." While supporting them; Therefore, both parties benefit from this cooperation.
