Head of Kermanshah Province Industry, Mining and Trade Organization: Seven inactive mines in the province have been activated with an investment of ten billion tomans since the beginning of this year.

According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, Mohsen Darabi added: "These mines include marble, feldspar, carcass stone, silica and bitumen, the annual extraction of which is estimated at three hundred and fifty thousand tons."

He said: "These mines, which are located in the cities of Kermanshah, Islamabad-Gharb, Kangavar, Sanghar, Keliai and Gilan-e-Gharb, have directly created employment for 40 people."

Darabi considered the revival of production units as one of the main programs of the Industry, Mining and Trade Organization and said: One hundred and forty-four industrial and mining units of the province will be revived this year with an investment of more than seven thousand and eight hundred billion Rials.

He added: "Investors spend six thousand two hundred and forty eight billion tomans to revive and strengthen these units, and more than one thousand five hundred and seventy-nine billion riyals and one hundred and sixty million euros will be paid and provided."

The head of Samat Organization of Kermanshah stated: with this volume of investment, a total of three thousand one hundred and seventy-nine new jobs will be created and the jobs of six thousand two hundred and forty-two people will be stabilized.

According to Darabi, with the revival of these units, the province's production capacity of three and seven million tons will be stabilized and another ten million tons will be added to this capacity.

He considered the meetings of the headquarters for facilitating and removing production barriers to be very effective in reviving production units and said: "Last year, one hundred and sixteen meetings of the working group for facilitating and removing production barriers were held, of which more than seventy-nine The percentage is operational.

Secretary of Kermanshah Production Facilitation and Removal Barriers Headquarters noted: Production Facilitation and Removal Headquarters is not only related to solving the problems of production and industrial units, but also examining and removing barriers to manufacturing companies, to problems and obstacles in mining, agriculture, tourism. And cultural heritage is also taken care of.

Kermanshah province with a population of two million people has more than one thousand production units with more than thirty thousand jobs.
