We export twenty-five percent of our mineral products
Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of the Ministry of Industry: We have reached a formula that no matter how much production we have, we can export at least twenty-five percent of the production.
According to the International Stone Exhibition of Iran, Dariush Ismaili said: "Looking at steel production last year, which was about twenty-seven million tons, and the amount of exports, which was about eight and a half million tons, we came up with a formula to produce at least twenty." And we can export five percent of our production, so we told the producers that they could consider exporting for twenty-five percent of their production.
The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade added: "Steel products and steel itself should have an acceptable and reasonable price for the people;" Because we are producers, we also have the amount of additional products that we have exported.
He added that in order for this to happen, the Market Regulatory Working Group had a decision late last year that steel producers would sell 60 percent of their products on the stock exchange, and the remaining 40 percent would be either exported or under long-term contracts with more companies. Four hundred thousand people a year need to sign a contract and proceed according to the contract.
The positive effect of canceling some prices on the stock exchange
"What has happened in recent times, especially in the new year, is that we have been forced to cancel prices on the stock exchange. Eliminate them, and our basis for defining unconventional prices has been global prices, which has had a great and, of course, very, very positive effect.
This year, steel exports will be higher than last year
Regarding the export of steel products, Ismaili said: "This year our reliance is on pressure, demand and policy on exports, and we definitely have a plan, and it will certainly happen that the export of steel products this year will definitely be more than last year." And the amount of currency from the export of steel chain products will be more than last year.
Exports of twenty-five percent of mineral products
He continued: "Looking at steel production last year, which is about twenty-seven million tons, and the amount of exports, which was about eight and a half million tons, we came up with a formula that we can produce at least twenty-five percent of the amount of production." Export, so we told the manufacturers that they could consider exporting for twenty-five percent of their products, and thus twenty-five percent for ingot producers and twenty-five percent for next products (rebars, pipes, profiles). "The point I have to make here is that the issue of our exports, which will definitely be higher than last year, is more our emphasis on the end of the value chain," Ismaili concluded. This means that when we can export rebars, pipes and profiles, home appliances, cars and sheds, steel and sheet are considered as raw materials. That is, ingots are the raw material for their production.
