Municipalities increased the cost of building tolls by 40 percent
In a letter to the interior minister, the National Association of Mass Producers criticized a 40 percent increase in the cost of issuing construction fees during the year of the production jump.
In a letter to Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli, Jamshid Barzegar, head of the National Association of Mass Builders, protested against the unbridled increase in the cost of building tolls by municipalities in the year marked by the jump in production.
The letter said that the increase in tolls for issuing building permits this year is in conflict with the increase in housing production, adding that the recession in the construction sector, as the main economic sector of the country, will have irreparable consequences.
Mass builders have called on the interior minister to intervene in some of the 40 percent increase in construction fees by some municipalities, and to prevent the recession from deepening in the construction sector.
