Vice President of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce: Today, the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, in the period of activity of its new head, needs to remove the obstacles facing exports, and this issue should be on the agenda.

According to the International Stone Exhibition of Iran, "Mohammad Atabak" stated: The Supreme Leader of the Revolution drew the path of resistance economy with the characteristic of endogenous and extraversion and in the current situation in many products of mineral industries such as steel, cement, etc. We have a surplus of production and we need to be present in the international markets.

He added: "The Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade needs to be the basis for the development of the country's exports and it is expected that the new head of the ministry will take steps in this regard."

Atabak noted: "Today, if we want to divide the extent to which we face domestic and foreign barriers to export, it is certainly more than a matter of sanctions to cut off domestic barriers to exports."

He stressed: "Activists in the field of industry, mining and trade expect the new head of the ministry to remove the obstacles facing exports, and production will be accompanied by a leap."

Atabak said that the development of unnecessary laws and regulations would upset the balance in the production process and would benefit profiteers and intermediaries, leading to a reduction in exports.

He added: "The head of the Central Bank and the relevant officials emphasize the importance of studying foreign exchange to meet the needs of the country, but in the executive dimension, the stones facing exports prevent the implementation of programs."

Atabak confirmed the issue of preventing the sale of raw materials and said: "What the Ministry of Industry should pay attention to during this period is that the products of the production units should be easily exportable."

He added: "Today, the officials in the Ministry of Industry must listen to the words of the professionals and the managers of production and export, because otherwise, the performance will have harmful consequences for the country."

"Hussein Modarres Khayabani, a religious scholar and one of the successful managers of the cement industry, is well versed in economic concepts and has mastered the management of economic enterprises," Atabak said of the nominee. It has the necessary environment and has organized the relevant sector during its activity in the industries.

He expressed hope that the new head of the Ministry of Industry would remove the pressure from production and instead of the products being stored in the warehouses of the dealers, it would lead to exported markets and the consequences of currency appreciation for our country.
