Head of Mines Department of Qom Industry, Mining and Trade Organization: In order to implement the production mutation strategy in the mining sector of the province, a small-scale resuscitation and development project of scales will be followed in Qom.

According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, Mohammad Taghi Kazemzadeh, in an interview, said: Assignment of mines without exploitation, development of metal exploration and follow-up of the plan to extract minerals from Namak Lake are other programs of Qom Industry, Mining and Trade Organization in order to achieve production jump. Which will be done in accordance with environmental standards.

He continued: "One of the other programs planned to fulfill the slogan of the year in the field of mines in the province is to improve productivity in mines in order to develop mining along with preserving natural resources."

He added: "Mineral auctions will definitely be held in the province so that the mines that do not have exploitation and their number reaches about forty mines will be handed over legally; this will create more jobs and meet the needs of industrial units for minerals."

Kazemzadeh also said: "Reconstruction and development of mining industries near the province's mines is also in the program of Qom Industry, Mining and Trade Organization to develop the mineral processing sector in Qom by observing environmental principles."

He stated: The registration of orders for the import of mining machinery for the second under ten years, which will lead to the modernization of the mining machinery fleet and improve the efficiency of the province's mines, will be followed by the Mines Department of the Qom Industry, Mining and Trade Organization.

He continued: "Mining is not in conflict with the environment and natural resources, and this activity takes place all over the world, but it has plans and programs along with engineering supervision. This issue is also provided in the law as the reconstruction of mines and part of the state's mining rights." This issue will be allocated, so if there is interaction and cooperation, it will be possible to promote and develop green mining in the province.

There are two percent of the country's total mines in Qom, and this shows the need to pay more attention to the province's capacity to increase the province's income; in this regard, the Qom Samat Organization's strategy is to prevent the extraction of raw materials from mining to increase economic value by processing them. More in the mining sector of the province.

The province's most well-known reserves include metal mines (lead, zinc, copper, manganese), non-metallic mines (kaolin, barite, salt and sodium sulfate), and raw materials mines for building materials (decorative stones, marble, granite, carcass stones, limestone and limestone). Using new projects and optimal use of these minerals, it is possible to create lucrative businesses in the field of mineral industries in the province.
