Head of Naqadeh Industry, Mining and Trade Department: The nominal capacity of all mines in this city is estimated at 124 thousand tons.

According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, Ghorban Anousheh, referring to the activities of twelve mines in the city, added: "One hundred and twenty-four thousand tons of minerals extracted from Naqdeh mines have actually been exploited, seventy thousand tons."

He continued: "The main quarries in these mines are pink marble, marble, silica, white marble, gray, honey, limestone, carcass and malone, sand and mountain materials, including pink marble." It is one of the most expensive and significant decorative stones and is one of the unique stones in the Middle East, which is exported to Asian and European countries such as Turkey, Italy and China.

Anousheh pointed out that twenty-seven mining units have been registered in Naqadeh, adding that twelve of these mines are active and the rest have problems due to sanctions against the country's industry, such as supply, export and so on.

He stated that 200 people are directly employed in the active mines of this city and 1,500 people are working indirectly, adding that the vast majority of the employees in these mines are natives.

He added: The amount of investment in the mines of Naghadeh city during this year is more than thirty-five billion Rials.

The head of Naghadeh Industry, Mining and Trade Department said that the lack of mineral and decorative stone processing units in the region is the main problem of the city's mining sector and said: "Due to the lack of mineral and decorative stone processing units in the region, It is exported to neighboring countries.

Anousheh cited the lack of low-interest banking facilities to support investors and investment to create specialized processing units and the lack of sufficient sales nationwide as other problems of the city's mines.
