Private Sector Presence in Farooj Stone Paper
The head of the province's industry organization announced the investment of two hundred and forty-six billion tomans for the launch of the stone paper production unit from calcium carbonate in Farouj by the private sector.
According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, Reza Firoozeh said in a meeting of the Mines Council, which was held on May 6, at the governor's office: "This project is currently being implemented without being introduced to the National Development Fund."
He added: "For the construction of this production unit, the Jihad Agricultural and Land Affairs Organization has agreed to change the land use and the equipment of the first line of this production unit has been purchased."
Firoozeh continued: "In this unit, eighty-eight thousand tons of peripheral products will be produced per year, which is only thirty thousand tons of stone paper."
He announced the issuance of an establishment permit for the establishment of a marble processing unit in the industrial town of Bojnourd No. 3 and said: "This project will be implemented by the private sector with the participation of the Italian partner."
The official added: "To build this production unit, the investor has been introduced to the National Development Fund."
He also referred to the construction of a magnesium ingot production unit from the Dolomite mine in Garmeh and said: "The project has been introduced to the National Development Fund for the construction of this production unit."
According to him, in order to build this production unit, two hundred and fifty billion tomans of investment must be made.
