Imidro's share of 30% of total mineral extraction

Previous reports indicate that of the country's total mineral extraction, the share of building materials is sixty to sixty-five percent.
Emami stated that the exploitation license is the number of fifteen mines named after the Organization for Development and Reconstruction of Mines and Mining Industries of Iran (Imidro), and said: the number of twenty-one mines is also the name of Iran Minerals Production Company, all of which are active.
According to the statistics of the Ministry of Industry in 1397, the number of mines with exploitation licenses in the whole country has been ten thousand four hundred and four mines, of which five thousand and six hundred mines are active and the rest are inactive.
He added: "All the mines that are mined under the supervision of Imidro are in fact state-owned and do not involve the private sector or cooperatives."
Regarding the mine transfer program under the organization's control, the director of mines of Imidro said: "According to paragraph" T "of Article 35 of the Law on Elimination of Barriers to Production, Imidro must provide its mines to the private sector through a public call for extraction and sale."
"Currently, this method is being implemented in all Imidro mines, and this trend will continue in the coming years," he said.
Small scale mines
Emami also said about the small-scale mining rehabilitation project: "This project is being implemented by Iran Minerals Production and Production Company on behalf of Imidro and in fact this company plays the role of facilitator and coordinator for activating such mines."
He pointed out that Imidro does not intend to acquire ownership of this part of the mines in any way.
According to IRNA, Vajihollah Jafari, CEO of Iran Minerals Production and Production Company, had previously said that the production and representation on behalf of Imidro in the implementation of the project to revive, activate and develop small-scale mines as one of the projects of resistance economy It has been operating since last year.
He added: "Statistics show that by the third of March of last year, the number of one hundred and forty-five mines has been activated and thirty-two mines have been activated."
According to the plan, it is expected that five hundred mines with an employment rate of twenty-five thousand people will be activated in a five-year period.
