Acting Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Industry, Mining and Trade Organization: Out of seventeen decorative stone mines in this province, more than eighty-two thousand tons of products were produced and marketed last year.

According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, Mehrdad Ghasemi stated: Of this amount, more than eight thousand tons of stone were extracted from the only decorative stone quarry in Lordegan city last year, using building facades and decorative blue ornaments.

He said: Fard Lordegan rare blue decorative stone mine was inactive until 1392 due to economic recession and export barriers.

The Deputy Head of Mines and Mining Industries of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Industry, Mining and Trade Organization stated that the annual production capacity of the province's blue marble is more than ten thousand tons and added: if the infrastructure and private sector participation are prepared, the product processing plant will It will be launched in the region.

Ghasemi added: "In the last two years, the twelfth government also activated seven semi-active and stagnant mines in the province, which led to the production of 1.5 million tons of minerals."

According to him, with the activation of seven inactive mines, the employment of forty-three new workers was provided and new mines that are in the production phase, in the extraction of limestone and carcass stone and in the cities of Lordegan, Koohrang, Borujen, Ben, Farsan and Kiar.

He added: "The annual income of the province's mining sector in this government has increased by thirty-five percent compared to the previous government."

The Deputy Head of Mines and Mining Industries of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Industry, Mining and Trade Organization stated that the annual revenue of the government from the mining sector of this province is 7 billion and five hundred million Rials and added: this amount has now reached more than twelve billion Rials.

Ghasemi mentioned carcass stones, lithographs, silica, gypsum, earthworks, decorative stones and cement raw materials as the products of active mines and said: "On average, about five million tons of minerals are extracted from the active mines of the province annually."

According to this report, one hundred and eighty-six mines with six hundred and seventy-one billion rials of investment are active in the province, which has created employment for about one thousand five hundred and thirty-three people.
