Rehabilitation of small-scale mines in line with the jump in production
Managing Director of Iran Minerals Production and Production Company: The small-scale mining rehabilitation project is one of the resistance economy projects and is on the agenda as a production leap in line with this year's plans.
According to the International Stone Exhibition of Iran, "Vajihollah Jafari" in the first meeting of the project to revive, activate and develop small-scale mines this year with the presence of members of this project in the company added: Following that, we will see an increase in production and employment.
Earlier, the Ministry of Industry announced that the number of small-scale mines that had been rehabilitated last year had reached 1,430.
Also, "Khodadad Gharibpour", the Deputy Minister of Industry, had said in this regard: "Small-scale mines are located in deprived areas, and their restoration will bring economic and professional prosperity to these areas." In addition, more mining industries are developing.
The head of Imidro's board of directors had announced by October 11 that the number of thirty-three small-scale mines had been revived and activated.
Gharibpour said: "Imidro, in addition to development activities for large mines, has developed small mines due to its advantages, including job creation, prosperity of deprived areas and supply of raw materials to factories."
The Ministry of Industry and Statistics said: "Last year, the amount of mineral extraction from five thousand and six hundred active mines reached four hundred and ten million tons, and this year, according to the plan, twenty-five to thirty-five percent will be added to the amount of mineral extraction."
