Sixty-nine industrial licenses are issued in Mahallat city
Head of the Department of Industry, Mining and Trade of Mahallat County: Sixty-nine industrial units with an estimated investment of eleven thousand nine hundred and four billion rials received permits in this city last year.
According to the International Stone Exhibition of Iran, "Reza Maleki" added: "The most important licenses issued in the field of stone processing are the production of paper from stone and chemicals, and the exploitation of these projects is associated with the employment of 1,330 people."
The head of the Industry, Mining and Trade Department of Mahallat city stated: the number of licenses issued in terms of the number of investments and employment has grown by 100%.
Maleki said: "Twenty licenses for the exploitation of industries were issued last year in the city of Mahallat, all of which are related to the stone industry of this city."
He continued: "There is an industrial town, a district and two industrial poles in Mahallat city, in which two hundred and ninety industrial units operate."
The head of the Department of Industry, Mining and Trade of Mahallat city added: in these industrial units, about four thousand job opportunities have been provided.
Maleki reminded: there are one hundred and fifteen mining units in Mahallat city, of which seventy-five units are active and sixty-two units are active in the field of travertine.
He stated: The 50% share of the economy of Mahallat city in the field of production of raw and decorative stones has been able to create a suitable economic prosperity for this city.
Mahallat city is located in the south of Markazi province, two hundred and sixty-two kilometers southwest of Tehran, which has a population of fifty-five thousand people and its reputation is in the field of production of decorative stones, flowers and ornamental plants and tricot.
