Rostami continued: "Last year, about ten thousand tons of refractory soil was extracted from Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari mines. Our plan is to increase this number to twelve thousand tons. Ali Shahriarpour, head of the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Management and Planning Organization, said that only 50 percent of the province's mines are active. "We need to examine why the mine, which has reached the stage of obtaining a license and is ready for operation, is currently stagnant," he said.

He added: "Most of the minerals in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari active mines have low added value, so we must move towards exploration in mines that have higher added value."

Shahriarpour said: "Most of the minerals extracted in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari are exported to other provinces for processing, and this huge capacity can be used to create jobs."

Mehrdad Ghasemi, deputy director of mines at the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Industrial Organization, said: "The owners of twenty-four mines in the province have requested the use of a discount on the amnesty law to pay the government's salaries."

He added: The total of these discounts is two hundred and ninety-eight million tomans, which is the highest demand related to the mines located in Farsan and Koohrang cities.
