He stated: with the start of operation of this unit this year, forty-five thousand tons of paper and granules will be produced.

Mashayekhi added: "Farooj Paper Mill is one of the important projects in the field of production leaps, and due to Corona, the import of some parts has been postponed."

Regarding the production of stone paper in Jajarm city, the deputy director of the North Khorasan Industry, Mining and Trade Organization's plan and program said: "The applicant for this project canceled the investment due to the lack of government currency."

High durability, strength, moisture resistance and recyclability are the most important features of rock paper.

In 2016, with the localization of this industry in Yazd, Iran joined the four countries that own this industry, such as Canada, China and Taiwan.

Stone paper, also known as rock paper, lime paper, or mineral paper, is a new generation of paper that has been invented in recent years. The raw material of this paper is calcium carbonate powder, which replaces the use of wood to produce paper. Its properties include waterproofing, tear resistance, the magical effect of colors on it, and finally its reversibility to soil during the short-term recycling period.

Many consider stone paper production to be a surprising phenomenon in the printing industry, and its production is the beginning of a new era in the production of environmentally friendly paper, because its raw material is only stone, so it no longer seems to have to worry about cutting down trees and its destructive effects. Be an environment.

Also, in the process of producing rock paper, not only water is not used, but due to the whitening of raw materials, there is no need to use bleach in its production, which will result in the fact that other pollutants will not be added to our living environment.

The city of 50,000 in Farouj is located 90 km from Bojnourd, the capital of North Khorasan Province.
